چکیده

We report here theoretical values for the transition moments of an extensive set of vibrational bands in the electronic ground state of NH3. For selected bands, we have further made detailed simulations of the rotational structure. The calculations are carried out by means of recently developed computational procedures for describing the nuclear motion and are based on a highlevel ab initio potential energy surface, and high-level dipole moment surfaces, for the electronic ground state of NH3. The reported theoretical intensity values are compared to, and found to agree very well with, corresponding experimental results. It is believed that the computational method, in conjunction with high-quality ab initio potential energy and dipole moment surfaces, can simulate rotation-vibration spectra of XY3 pyramidal molecules prior to observation with sufficient accuracy to facilitate the observation of these spectra. By degrading the accuracy of selected elements of the calculations, we have also investigated the influence of customary approximations on the computed intensity values.

Computational study of electronic, spectroscopic, and chemical properties of (CdO)n (n=1-7) nanoclusters as a transparent conducting oxide

An ab initio study has been performed for the electronic, spectroscopic, and chemical properties of the most stable configuration of the (CdO)n nanoclusters by employing B3LYP-DFT/LanL2DZ method. Different isomers were optimized to obtain structural stability and numerous chemical parameters such as dipole moment, ionization potential, etc. We report here the vibrational frequencies of the most...

Accurate ab initio near-equilibrium potential energy and dipole moment functions of the ground electronic state of ozone

We report a highly correlated multireference configuration interaction calculation of the near-equilibrium potential energy surface of ozone using a large correlation consistent basis set. Three-dimensional analytical expressions are obtained for the potential energy and dipole moment functions using least-squares fits to ab initio points near the C2v equilibrium geometry. Low-lying vibrational...

ExoMol line lists – I . The rovibrational spectrum of BeH , MgH and CaH in the X 2 + state

Accurate line lists for three molecules, BeH, MgH and CaH, in their ground electronic states are presented. These line lists are suitable for temperatures relevant to exoplanetary atmospheres and cool stars (up to 2000 K). A combination of empirical and ab initio methods is used. The rovibrational energy levels of BeH, MgH and CaH are computed using the programs LEVEL and DPOTFIT in conjunction...
